air fryer recipes

The air fryer has become a staple in many kitchens. And with good reason, because this handy device is essentially a mini oven that can perform many of the functions of your regular oven, but just quicker. These air fryer recipes will get you started.

Air fryer recipes

Ever since I got an Air fryer as a gift, I have discovered what a handy tool it is. I regularly try new air fryer recipes. Whether it is nuts from the air fryer or a savory pie from the air fryer. The recipes below are all air fryer safe, or if you don’t have an air fryer, they can of course be made in a regular oven.

Where possible, I give you the information for making the recipes both in the air fryer and the settings for the same recipes in a conventional oven.

Why use an airfryer?

You may be wondering why make recipes in an air fryer when you already have an oven. First, it is often faster to use the air fryer. Most recipes take less time because you have a much more compact “oven”, so cooking is faster.

You also need less oil than normal, which is ideal if you are watching your health and want to use less oil. Also, by circulating the hot air, things like those delicious chicken legs become crisper and more nicely browned.

So there are plenty of reasons to buy this handy appliance. It saves energy, time and you need less fat. Win-win, I say!
