It's easy to make, takes only about 10 minutes to prepare and is the perfect little side dish. Garlic green beans with a splash of olive oil and some toasted almonds.
Cook the beans shortly in salted water. Approximately 3-4 minutes until cooked but still with a good bite.
Cut the cloves of garlic finely. Roast the almonds in a dry pan until golden. Set aside.
Heat oil in a large pan or wok and quickly sauté the garlic. Make sure it doesn't burn. Add the beans and stir fry for a bit. Add onto a plate and sprinkle with the almonds
Notes
Storing: You can store the cooked beans in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container. Freezing is an option although I wouldn't recommend it as the nuts will get very soft and loose their crispness. Best to make this fresh.
