Celeriac fries are a great alternative to regular fries. They're easy to make and have a totally different flavor profile. Delicious with mayonnaise or aioli.
Clean the celeriac by removing the skin and slicing the vegetable into thin strips. Making them more chunky is also an option but they might need slightly longer in the oven.
Take a large bowl and add the fries to it. Sprinkle with olive oil and pepper and salt and shake so all fries are covered with a little bit of oil.
Use a baking tray to spread them out in a single layer.
Bake in the oven for around 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and tender.
Notes
Storage: While you can prep the celeriac in advance, once baked it is best to eat them straight away for best results.
