This recipe has no added sugar or gluten and is vegetarian and vegan approved :)
bars or cubes
mixed unsalted nuts
medjool are the best for this
nut butter of your choice
hemp seeds, sunflower, chia, pumpkin, flaxseeds
mixed dried fruits
like cranberries, raisins, apricots and/or goji berries
bit of sea salt
of coconut oil
Preheat the oven to 200 C. Put the oats into an oventray and roast for about 15 minuten or until golden. Leave to cool.
In the meantime put the nuts together with the dates (pits removed) into the food processor and turn till you have a sticky mass.
Heat the nut butter with the honey in a small saucepan and add this to the date mixture and add all the other ingredients to it as well in the bowl. Knead it all together till you have a sticky mix.
Spread the mixture out on a baking tray or low ovendish and press with the back of a spoon. This is important or they will fall apart.
Place the bowl in the fridge for at least two hours and cut into cubes with a sharp knife
Keep in the fridge in an airtight container and you can enjoy them for two weeks.
