Cut the apple into small pieces, melt the butter in a frying pan and add the apple. Bake for about a minute while stirring. Add the quinoa flakes and about half of the water. Leave to simmer for about 5 minutes and add more water if it becomes too dry. I ended up needing about 120 ml of water.
Add the raisins, cinnamon, coconut sugar, salt and the spices into the mix. Leave to simmer for a short while and transfer to a bowl. Sprinkle the hazelnuts on top to finish it off.
