Whole30 Day #14 – a junk of a day


If I was anything like Scrooge I would say ‘Bah humbug’… Today was not a good day… Foodwise that is. I was busy working behind the computer and I totally did not want to get up and make a decent meal for myself. Tom is out with his friends tonight so it was just me… Wanna know what I had for dinner? Two boiled eggs and half a bag of cashew nuts. Yep, it was that sad… And totally unsatisfactory too. I should have made a soup or something quick and easy and now that I think about (which always happens after the fact right?) I realise that I do have all the stuff here to make a delicious soup. Sigh… Another day tomorrow or so the saying goes.

What did I eat today?

Breakfast: Apple and sharonfruit with hazelnuts

Lunch: tuna salad wraps

Dinner: two boiled eggs and cashewnuts.

  1. So wait a min. I just reread this three times. So the food you wrote is your junk food???!!!?? I mean it doesn’t sound like a lot of food for the day but it is nowhere near my bad days. I am happy to see that you are still staying strong with the Whole 30. You can do it!

    • Yep… sounds like real junk food right? Ofcourse on any normal day I would consider junk food, fries and mayo, hamburgers, hotdogs and that kind of stuff, but in whole30 terms snacking this much on cashew nuts…. is as good as junkfood!
