Wow… How much water can come out of the sky!

We have arrived in tortuguero yesterday and it was gorgeous weather so we enjoyed our surroundings. Our lodge is located in the middle of the jungle so you really don’t have to go far to see lots if beautiful animals. We were still pretty tired of the trip and the jetlag so we took it easy. It has been raining here a lot the last couple of days so the water is extremely high which meant a lot of the walks we planned are not an option. It’s all flooded… So we had to stay by the pool and enjoy the sunshine….:)

This morning we are having a tropical rain though. It’s been pouring down since 4 am. It’s starting to get a little dryer now but it’s still raining!
Anyway we’re having fun regardless of the weather!!
