Healthy new year snack – roasted pumpkin sticks with sesameseeds
Looking for a healthy snack to serve on newyears eve? Try these roasted pumpkin sticks. It takes a bit of time to roast the pumpkin in the oven but you don’t really need to sit and watch it and they are quite good. And healthy too!
Roasted pumpkin sticks
Ingredients
- 1 butternut squash
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 1 tbsp of sesame oil
- sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 C.
- Clean the butternut squash by removing the skin and the seeds and cut into cubes of aboout 2 by 1 cm.
- Make a sauce of the soy, honey and sesame oil and add the pumpkin cubes in. Make sure they all have a layer of the sauce. Put on a baking tray on a piece of baking paper and sprinkle with the sesameseeds
- Put in the oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes. As soon as it is done, put the cubes on a stick for easy serving
