And the winner of the All white theme is…. Andree Oulmann!!
There were so many gorgeous entries for this months All White theme that selecting a winner was really really hard. I am quite happy that I do not make that decision alone but that I share this with my panel of judges; Meeta from What’s for Lunch Honey, Jenn from Jenncuisine and Kay from Kayotic Kitchen. The final winner was not a unanimous vote but most votes count in this case, so the winner of this month’s theme…. *drumroll* is….. Andree Oulmann with her Ajo Blanco.
The image is beautiful with just the bright green of those tiny leaves in the middle of the soup giving the needed point of interest and the one thing your eye is drawn too immediately. So congratulations Andree on doing such a fabulous job! Ofcourse this challenge is not so much about winning but more about challenging yourself to do something different… 😉

Our runner up to the challenge was not one, not two but no less then three different photos as – to be honest – all of them were totally awesome. But to kill the suspense; the runner ups were:
- Harini from Tongue Ticklers
- Eva from Food Vegetarisch
- Kankana from Sunshine & smile
I am already looking forward to the entries for next months challenge which will be posted tomorrow!!
And because I thought it would be a great idea to show all the entries for this month in their full glory, please find below all the images entered and the links to the respective posts! Enjoy and see you next month!
Entry by Debbi Smirnoff, who is an amazing photographer. CHeck out some of her work on Flickr!
Kim is bringing us a little bit of sunshine with this delicious caprese salad. Arguably not the whitest entry but still mouthwateringly good!
Moya brought us feta infused with lemon and vanilla. Intriguing flavors!!

While Angela is calling this cake an old fashioned cake it just oozes charm and sophistication! Beautiful image in white!
While above two photos are taken by two different ladies; they are in fact part of one blog post in the awesome Liz & Jewels blog! Check it out!

I am loving the creativity that every person who entered the challenge showed. Another awesome one are these sugar shapes by Laurie

I am also extremely pleased that a few of the lovely girls I met at the workshop in Germany this year where I also met Liz and Jewels, have also participated! First one is from Eva, a great photographer friend!

And I was also thrilled to see some of the people who have previously followed one of my workshops enter in the photo challenge as well. Klaartje didn’t make it easy for herself by creating such a complicated dish but love the end result!

Another Dutch entry by de Ruysbroekjes who are sharing a gorgeous cheesecake!

And here is the second entry with Ajo Blanco (the first one being from Andree) by Aparna, as you can see a very different version from the one that Andree send in, but still equally beautiful.

!! Wow ¡¡ all entries are beautiful. I love the one with the old fashioned cocunut cake I would eat it all. The pears covered with rice are cute and the momos photos is beautiful. I love everytime I see this kind of photos and I wish I could make similar ones but I haven’t got enough light at home and (I have no reason why) I finish always adding a colour (many) I suppose it’s my studio :(. Thanks for sharing all this great blogs and their photos also.
O yes that coconut cake by Angela is one of my favorites too! Soo gorgeous and fluffy!
I am so glad to have participated. 🙂 I am already looking forward to the next theme. Like you said it is all about learning, and I am super happy to see so many perspectives!
And I am glad you participated too Harini. I hope everyone likes the second theme as much as the first one… 😉

A lovely challenge and beautiful entries. Congrats to Andree. It was an Ajo Blanco. 🙂
Congratulations Andree! I’m so sad that I didn’t get to participate in this challenge. I even took the photos but my work schedule went crazy this month and I didn’t have a chance to post them before the deadline! Lots of beautiful photos here – my favourites would have to be those taken by Kankana, Eva and Aparna. I am determined to join this challenge soon, if not this month then definitely the next!
Sorry that you missed it Amy but better next time!
