Whole30 Day #2 – Tired

Day #2 of our Whole30!

Day 2 was a little harder than day 1, which of course is nothing weird… I started off quite well, except for a headache but that went away after I drank some more water. But than somewhere in the afternoon the man with the hammer hit us… I could have just sat anywhere and fallen asleep… I was that tired… Lol… It’s better now although energy is still a bit low.

What did we eat?

Breakfast
Omelette with red peppers, courgette and spinach

Lunch
Broccoli soup with spinach (photo above… Looks good right? Recipe will appear on Simone’s Kitchen in a few days

Dinner
Salmon filet with cauliflower couscous with pomegranate seeds

And two mandarins as a snack. Looking back I need to start adding some protein in both breakfast and lunch. Maybe some meats in the omelette and some chicken in the soup as well.
It’s ok being a little low in calories for the first two days but I need to up it.

  1. Sounds like you are cooking some tasty looking food (that soup looks great!), but yeah I was wondering about the calorie intake too… are nuts allowed in the whole 30 plan?
