Back into civilisation

Back from the jungle (but still in Costa Rica) of Corcovado… We stayed for three days in la leona eco lodge while half of the group went for à three day hike into the deeper jungle. We didn’t do that as the heat here is enormous and the rest of the group is roughly 20 years younger then us so the oldies stayed behind…;)
La leona is basic but beautiful. To get there you first have to go by 4×4 jeep for 1,5 hours. Then you have to walk along the beach For about 30-45 minutes until you reach La Leona. There is no electricity so at night à flashlight is essential to get to our tent. Now the tents are not so basic. There are beds and we even had our own bathroom with an outdoor shower. À cold shower but still… It was running water!
